My Gym Partner's a Monkey

Adam Lyon is a normal kid who suddenly finds himself at Charles Darwin Middle School, a place where every student is a different animal. A clerical mistake has him listed as a lion, forcing him to join a class full of anthropomorphic creatures. In gym class he teams up with Jake Spidermonkey, and the two quickly become unlikely best friends as they bumble through clumsy routines, goofy mishaps, and the odd pep rally. The show mixes classroom comedy with zoo world logic, turning homework and recess into a series of quick sketches about fitting in, loyalty, and finding a place to belong when your school is full of characters who are anything but ordinary.
