A long war divides a high-tech Empire and the witch-ruled Nebulis Sovereignty, and into that conflict step two young fighters on opposite sides. Iska, an Imperial swordsman who hates magic, is sent to assassinate a key figure and meets Aliceliese, the Nebulis princess who believes in honor and duty. They keep trading blows and promises to kill each other, yet each encounter chips away at the simple enemy labels they're been taught. As battle lines harden, their attraction and clashing convictions create a dangerous, uncertain path where allegiance, love, and the larger political stakes all collide.

Released in 2020, the series adapts the light novel by Kei Sazane, with Yuki Inaba and Shunsuke Ishikawa credited among the creators. The anime features voices by Yusuke Kobayashi as Iska and Sora Amamiya as Aliceliese, anchoring the show’s central conflict.
