Outlander

Outlander follows Claire Randall, a married combat nurse who returns from World War II only to be swept back to 1743 Scotland. Stranded in a place with different rules and little modern medicine, she leans on her training and quick thinking to survive. As she becomes enmeshed in local politics and clan life, Claire crosses paths with Jamie Fraser, a young Scottish warrior whose honor and compassion complicate loyalties.
