Perfect Sisters

Two sisters endure a mother whose drinking and chaotic string of abusive boyfriends make the home a nightmare. When hope seems buried under more harm than healing, Sandra and Beth quietly hatch a drastic plan to end what feels like an endless cycle of fear. They map every detail, avoid obvious danger, and keep their scheme hidden from friends and adults who might intervene. The film follows their calculated nerves and the uneasy bond between them as the plan develops, testing loyalty, trust, and the cost of trying to control a family disaster. No one comes away unscathed when lines between protection and violence blur.

Directed by Stanley M Brooks and released in 2014, the film draws from a script by Fab Filippo and Adam Till. It stars Abigail Breslin, Georgie Henley and Mira Sorvino.
