Iruma Takumi is an ordinary guy who gets pulled into a fantasy world by mistake after a botched hero summoning. Rather than the swords-and-sorcery warrior he was expected to be, Takumi is handed an extraordinary gift from the goddess Nolyn, a power called alchemy that can produce anything from holy blades to flying ships. He hoped for a quiet new life, but the sheer scope of what he can make, and the people he meets in Mildgard, pull him into conflicts and responsibilities he never wanted.
