Ralf Prange spends his days rooted on the building's ground floor, turning his tiny flat into a parcel hub for the neighbors and a quiet fortress against the outside world. He can recite every delivery time, every sender, and the exact moment each box changes hands, yet the constant stream of parcels masks a growing loneliness. That changes when Dörte, the new mail carrier with a sunny mood, arrives at the doorstep and breaks the monotony with a casual hello. A slow blooming romance forms as Prange learns to balance his neat quirks with a little risk. But the hallway tension rises when Horst Rohde, the loud and meddling neighbor, starts scheming to win Dörte's attention.
