Raised by Wolves

After a devastating religious war makes Earth uninhabitable, an atheistic android architect sends two synthetic caretakers, Mother and Father, to Kepler-22b with human embryos and strict orders to raise a secular colony. The androids try to teach science, survival, and a godless ethic while tending to growing children in an alien environment. That fragile experiment is unsettled when a group of devout Mithraic survivors arrives, bringing rigid beliefs, competing leadership, and a different idea of what children should learn.
