Snowpiercer

More than seven years after a man-made freeze turns Earth into a polar desert, Snowpiercer follows the humans who survive aboard a gigantic train that never stops. Society is rigidly divided by car, with scarce resources and strict rules keeping the lower-class tail section segregated from the affluent front. Tensions rise when a murder and growing unrest expose how fragile the train's order really is. Andre Layton, a former detective from the tail played by Daveed Diggs, becomes central to investigations and political scheming as different factions vie for influence, access to resources, and a chance to change life on the moving microcosm.

Snowpiercer premiered in 2020 on TNT, created by Graeme Manson and Josh Friedman. The series draws on Bong Joon-ho's 2013 film and the original French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, and it stars Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright, Iddo Goldberg, and Roberto Urbina.
