Cowboy Bebop

The 2021 Netflix live-action series was developed by Christopher L. Yost as an adaptation of the 1998 anime created by Shinichiro Watanabe, and it premiered on Netflix with John Cho, Mustafa Shakir and Daniella Pineda leading the cast.

The show reignited debate about translating anime to live-action, dividing fans over casting, tone and faithfulness.
