On her 21st birthday Kara Zor-El takes off across the galaxy with her dog Krypto, leaving the comforts of home for a trip that quickly turns violent. Along the way she meets Ruthye Mary Knoll, a young woman whose presence shifts Kara's plans and sharpens her aim. The movie follows Kara as ordinary celebration gives way to a relentless drive for revenge, and as she learns how far she will go to punish those who hurt the people she cares about. Action sequences and sci-fi set pieces sit alongside quieter scenes that probe how anger changes a hero.
