In a snowy northern valley, a young reindeer named Niko dreams of flying the way his father did, a figure he never got to meet. The other herd members tease his wish, calling it impossible. Undeterred, Niko slips away from the safety of the herd to secretly pursue a chance to soar. He seeks out Julius, a resourceful flying squirrel who has spent years studying how to ride thermals and glide above the treetops. As Niko trains, he learns not only the physics of flight but also the inner strength to believe in himself, forging unexpected friendships and facing the dangers that lie beyond the valley.
