Help! I'm a Fish

Three kids stumble onto a peculiar potion and accidentally become fish after a quirky scientist's formula goes awry. The trio find themselves tossed into the open sea where every splash and current becomes a new challenge. To turn back, they must locate the antidote and drink it within a tight 48 hour window, or risk staying transformed forever. Their adventure blends wit with wonder as they swap school hallways for coral forests, meeting talking sea creatures and dodging dangerous tides. Along the way they rely on courage, quick thinking, and a growing bond that helps them rethink what home really means. Along the way they dodge hungry seagulls, solve underwater puzzles, and rely on clever devices from their mentor.

Directed by Michael Hegner and Stefan Fjeldmark, the film stems from an original concept by John Stefan Olsen, Karsten Kiilerich and Dan Harder. It released in 2000 as a Danish animated adventure with Danish voice cast led by Sebastian Jessen.

Box office figures show a worldwide gross of 5.6 million dollars against an 18 million dollars budget, making it a modest performer in the global market, though it has found a dedicated family audience in later releases in several markets.
