The Heir to The Throne

Yau Ho-yee is the eldest granddaughter of the Yau family, lively, driven and convinced she can run the household when the time comes. Her grandfather, a traditional patriarch, has favored his only grandson as successor, so Ho-yee has long been sidelined. When the patriarch suddenly falls gravely ill and leaves behind an unexpected power of attorney, the family fractures. Ho-yee teams up with her former lawyer boyfriend, Ko Tsun, and steps into the role of acting chairman. Old rivalries flare as relatives question her authority, and the household sets up a tense contest over who will steer the family forward.
