Godo Kusanagi starts out as an ordinary high school student until a violent encounter leaves him the survivor of a clash with a god. That victory transfers divine power and the title Campione to him, and he quickly finds his life upended by new responsibilities and enemies. Suddenly he moves through a hidden layer of the world where ancient deities, rival claimants, and political grudges shape daily threats. Alongside him are several powerful allies who complicate romantic and strategic choices, and he has to balance school, relationships, and sudden supernatural duties. The show keeps its larger mysteries intact, focusing on fights, awkward moments, and the fallout of inheriting godlike authority.
