Freshly dumped by her husband who left for a younger woman, Françoise faces a 60th birthday with a cloud over her head. To lift her spirits, her two daughters Rose and Alice whisk their mother away to a sunny resort on Reunion, hoping the sea air and a few margaritas will do them all good. The trip is meant to be simple and restorative a chance to swap heartbreak for laughter and light. But Rose has a plan of her own she hires Thierry a charming one night companion to show their mother a good time.
