Light the Night

Light the Night takes viewers into the neon drenched streets of 1980s Taipei where a popular Japanese nightclub serves as both stage and sanctuary for a group of women. Inside the club's glittering world, relationships are tested as desire collides with ambition, friendship with rivalry. Rose, officially a performer, guards her own secrets as she navigates shifting loyalties among coworkers and patrons. Sue, known to friends as Su Ching-yi, balances affection with pragmatism while guarding the stories that could get people hurt. Pan Wen-cheng moves through the circle with a quiet intensity, while Chiang Han and He Yu-en bring tension and mystery that hint at darker currents below the surface. The show blends drama and crime with intimate character study, avoiding predictable paths as it unfolds.
