When the Qingyun Conference opens in the Hexu Six Realms, Ji Bozai arrives with a reputation that doesn't match his new fame. Once a convict from the Jixing Abyss, he shocks everyone by defeating Ming Yi, a distant warrior goddess who had held the top spot for seven years. Ming Yi chooses to hide her true rank and reappears as a dancer to move closer to him. They both put on carefully constructed masks, trading calculated moves and guarded moments. As the series goes on their rivalry mixes with attraction, and through fights over fairness and honor they slowly build trust and an unexpected, lasting connection.
