The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy

After a thousand years sealed in magical stasis, the Dark Lord Leonis wakes up inside the body of a ten-year-old boy and has to cope with a bewildering new era. He soon meets Riselia, a determined girl who fights the Voids, strange creatures that have pushed humanity to the brink. To figure out what happened during his long sleep and whether the Voids tie back to his past, Leonis signs up at Excalibur Academy, a school that trains young fighters. Between training drills, uneasy friendships, and hints of his former power, he balances a fearsome legacy with the limits of a child without giving away everything.

Released in 2023, the anime was created by Kunihiko Okada, Yu Shimizu, and Chiai Fujikawa, and features Marina Inoue, Yui Ishikawa, Aya Suzaki, Hiromi Igarashi, and Honoka Kuroki in leading voice roles. It premiered as an animated TV series worldwide.
