Victoria Tonantzin grew up poor after being abandoned by her biological mother and taken in by Chencha, who raised her as her own. Gifted at sprinting, Victoria trains with an Olympic dream, juggling rigorous practice, scarce resources and the emotional weight of her past. Romantic entanglements complicate things, as Andrés and Raúl each bring different loyalties, rivalries and pressures that pull her in competing directions. Family obligations, class differences and the demands of elite sport shape daily choices, while Chencha's care and local support steadily shape Victoria's resolve and values, too.

Premiering in 2017, The Flight to Victory was created by Carlos Romero, Anthony Arrieche Gutiérrez and María Antonieta Gutiérrez, and stars Paulina Goto, Andrés Palacios, Mané de la Parra, Susana González and Arturo Peniche, presented in the telenovela style, domestically.
