In a quiet rural town something seems off as daily life grows unsettled. People notice small oddities and strange glitches that don't fit the normal rhythms. Shizuru Chikura, practical and stubborn, becomes obsessed with a missing friend and the mysteries surrounding her disappearance. She teams up with three other girls who share her mix of courage and nerves. They climb aboard an old, abandoned train rumored to pull travelers toward answers they cannot yet name. The car rattles to life and slips away from the familiar shops and fields into a world where the rules look different. With no guaranteed return, they press toward the unknown to reach the final stop. Along the way they meet others and rethink home.
