An unseen catastrophe reshapes the world when a fatal accident at a Geneva particle accelerator ignites a cascade of global disruption. On the school ship Polar Star, a mix of students and teachers finds themselves cut off from everything but the sea and their own crew. With no reliable contact with the outside, the ship becomes their fragile new home and the only setting where danger and hope live side by side.
