Prince Oscar climbs a deadly tower hoping to win the Witch of the Azure Moon's magic to undo a cruel curse, one that kills any woman he marries. When he spots Tinasha, he changes his plan: convinced she's strong enough to survive the curse, he asks her to marry him instead. Tinasha reluctantly accepts a one-year stay in the royal castle so she can research the spell and search for a cure. The witch, meanwhile, keeps a youthful face that hides many past lives and dark deeds, and as Tinasha digs into the curse, fragments of that past begin to leak back into the present, straining alliances and raising urgent moral questions.
